I am an ordained priest in the Anglican Diocese of Auckland. I am passionate about journeying with those transitioning or discerning future direction as well as facilitating growth in others. I attended Laidlaw College, St Johns Theological College, and am also a graduate of the University of Auckland and completed a Doctorate in Ministry in 2020 through Virginia Theological Seminary.

I also serve as Police Chaplain for Waitemata District and am an officiating Chaplain with the Airforce — I’m passionate about people from all walks of life. My Master’s Degree explored how other cultures fit in the Anglican Church that uses a three tikanga model for its operations. For my Doctoral study I explored contemporary methods of doing evangelism and concluded that listening can be a very useful tool in sharing the good news of God with others.

Nineteen years ago I came from Zimbabwe in pursuit of my calling to ordained ministry as the Anglican Church in Zimbabwe does not ordain women. As such my interests include church leadership and supporting women to leadership roles. I am passionate about people fully taking advantage of the opportunities given to them and seek to encourage all interested in leadership to put their hand up when opportunities are presented to better themselves. I believe if given equal opportunities anyone can excel in every way possible.

Further to my love for people I have an eye for nice shoes and enjoy having a good laugh with friends as well as time outdoors.
