Utilising my coaching and professional supervision skills and tools, I seek to support growth and sustainability in leaders. Using a strengths-based approach, I use powerful conversations to draw out and partner with people to reach goals and develop sustainable leadership skills and practices in the process. I am a very good listener; having worked in ‘ministry’ and leadership roles for 45 years, I am not surprised by much!
I have a variety of leadership experiences – teaching, motivating and developing people and leading teams and faith communities. To my practise, I bring life experience in cross-cultural living and leadership (10 years living in Asia), a nursing background and the national leadership of a mission agency for nine years. I have been a pastor in a Pentecostal context and am now a Presbyterian minister with senior leadership experience.
While my coaching scope is wide-ranging but tailor-made to my client, my main areas of passion are supporting sustainable leadership and leadership development - with particular interest in the intercultural and missional spaces. I am energised by seeing people move forward, growing through challenge and seeing transformation in their lives.
