Born in the mighty Waikato, I grew up in the town of Cambridge. Most of my childhood was spent as a pastor's kid (PK), immersed in the dual realities of the church's beauty and its challenges. I swore I'd never follow that path, yet God gently led my husband and me to co-lead Central Vineyard Church in Auckland with Dan and Gabrielle Sheed.

Before stepping into ministry, I worked as a physiotherapist, primarily helping people with neurological conditions find their way back to health. The jump from being a physiotherapist to being a pastor may seem vast but I've discovered a profound connection. The skills of leading and encouraging people through change, empowering them, and teaching them to navigate their own journeys have seamlessly transferred—especially in life's hardest moments.

I have a passion for working with church leaders to not only see growth within their gifting and ministry but, more importantly, their character formation. I believe we are not meant to only “know” and “do” more but to be transformed, prioritising our emotional health, being curious about how our own story intersects with the gospel, and not running from the hard aspects of life, like pain and suffering. This, I believe, will keep us in the game for the long run, rather than leading to a short, burnt-out journey as a church leader.

I have been married to my husband, Rob, for over 20 years and have two beautiful girls who always keep us on our toes.
