Born in Papua New Guinea and raised in the mighty Waikato where I am based with my family. I am married with two primary school aged boys. We have a beautiful, blended extended whaanau of Maori, Pasifika, African, and European whakapapa. It is my love and interest for languages and cultures which lead me to pursue a degree in Linguistics and Anthropology.
I have been learning from and serving with the local community for the past nine years. I am humbled to share time with some of our most vulnerable and meet people during their time of need.
I have called different churches my church home through different seasons in life; Catholic, Salvation Army and Pentecostal, all of which have provided a firm grounding in my faith journey.
In my spare time I love to spend time with my family, drink coffee, be outdoors and go to the gym. These are all things that energise me and I am always reminded of how God is at work within all facets of my life, providing the ultimate anchor and light.
I am passionate about wellbeing and supporting others to reach their full, often untapped, potential. It is most fulfilling to see people learn and live their purpose.
